Descrizione

Di solito è lungo 35 cm, ma può crescere fino a 45 cm.

Diffusione

Si trova nel Pacifico occidentale, dal Giappone meridionale alle isole Andamane e vicino all'Australia. È noto anche nelle isole Figi e Tuvalu. Specie di pesce marino tropicale che vive nelle barriere coralline.
